[2024 Bridge Engineering Mechanics Elite Camp] Helping Participants Bring Bridge Design and Knowledge to Life
The 2024 Bridge Engineering Mechanics Elite Camp, organized by the China Engineering Consultants Foundation, has come to a successful close! Co-organized by Kuang Tien International Co., Ltd., CECI Engineering Consultants, and Little Stark Lab (STARK Lab), the camp attracted enthusiastic civil engineering students from across Taiwan.
Over the three-day camp, participants learned a wide range of bridge engineering knowledge and 3D modeling techniques, then put it all to the test on the final day. Each team used a Vernier Structures & Materials Tester to measure their own bridge designs, loading weight onto the bridges and calculating structural efficiency to see which team's structure scored highest. A panel of professional judges also contributed to the scoring.
The camp gave every participant a deeper understanding of the intricacies of bridge engineering. We are confident everyone came away with a wealth of knowledge and rich rewards — see you next time!
