AESEA Deepens Local Roots, Partnering with Yu Da University of Science and Technology to Nurture Miaoli's Green-Energy Talent

To broaden the reach of green-energy science education and discover promising local talent, AESEA joined hands with Yu Da University of Science and Technology on September 14 to hold the KidWind Wind Energy Miaoli Workshop. The event provided professional pre-competition training for teams from Miaoli Agricultural and Industrial Vocational High School, Junyi High School, and Chung Hsing Commercial and Industrial Vocational High School, all taking on the KidWind Challenge in Asia for the first time.

To ensure effective learning, the Association appointed Supervisor Wu Ming-te as the keynote instructor, delivering an in-depth explanation of the core principles of turbine blade design. Students also worked hands-on with the Association's own Mini Wind Energy Kit, gaining a deep appreciation of wind power through both theory and practice.

AESEA's Secretary-General noted that KidWind is a globally recognized benchmark competition that tests students' integrated STEM abilities, and the Association is delighted to welcome the Miaoli teams. Through this systematic training, we hope to help students showcase their creativity and strength at the Asian league and bring honor to Taiwan. This successful collaboration with Yu Da University also lays a solid foundation for green-energy education in the local community.
