2026/2/6
Dear members, teachers, and parents:
To make STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education more accessible and deepen students' understanding of green-energy technology, the Asia-Pacific Energy & Science Education Association (AESEA) is honored to be invited once again this year to join the Sanchong District Office of New Taipei City and Gezhi High School in promoting the "2026 New Taipei City STEM Science, Math, Information & Intelligent Robotics Competition."
The event will take place on Sunday, March 29, 2026. Unlike traditional competitions, this event adopts a **"learn first, compete after"** educational model, allowing students to turn scientific principles into hands-on results on the spot under professional guidance. We warmly invite students interested in green energy and structural engineering to team up and take on the challenge!
🌟 AESEA's Featured Events
For this competition, AESEA has helped design two highlight events that emphasize hands-on practice and engineering thinking. All competition materials and equipment are provided by the organizers, lowering the barrier to entry so creativity can flow freely:
1. 🌪️ KidWind Wind Energy Creative Invitational (AESEA's flagship event)
2. 🌉 VSMT Bridge Structural Load Competition
[Eligibility]: Elementary division and mixed junior/senior high division (2 students per team, up to 20 teams per division).
[Highlights]: Engineering mechanics at its finest! Applying principles of mechanics within limited time and materials, contestants must design and build on site a bridge structure with the greatest load-bearing capacity, pushing the limits of structural stability.
📅 Event Information at a Glance
All participants who complete the event receive a Certificate of Participation from the Sanchong District Office (a valuable addition to learning portfolios).
Winning teams in each division will receive award certificates and STEM Creativity medals.
