New Taipei City 2025 KidWind Challenge in Asia Northern Regional Concludes — Students Showcase Their Passion for Sustainable Energy
Organized by the New Taipei City Education Department and co-organized by AESEA, the 2025 KidWind Wind Energy Asia League Northern Regional was held on October 2 at Banqiao Stadium and came to a successful close!
The event drew 20 teams in the Senior High and Vocational Division and 9 teams in the Elementary and Junior High Division — 29 enthusiastic teams in all, competing side by side. We watched students work with intense focus, repeatedly fine-tuning blade angles and strategizing with teammates, turning creativity and scientific knowledge into practice. Their keen interest in wind power and their team spirit made for an electric atmosphere. As one parent put it: "Seeing my child this focused means more than any medal."
Our thanks go to all the participating teams for their outstanding performances, and to the distinguished guests, judges, teachers, and parents who came to lend their support. After fierce competition, the results are officially in:
